Plage de la Marine Vincendo isn’t a beach for swimming.. It’s a beach for watching, listening, and feeling the energy of Réunion’s untamed south coast. Black volcanic stones stretch along the shore, shaped by centuries of lava flow and rough waves. The Indian Ocean crashes loudly against the rocks, and the air is thick with salt spray and wind.

You won’t find sand or sunbeds here. What you will find is raw beauty. The kind that draws local families for weekend picnics, drone pilots for wide coastal shots, and photographers chasing the contrast of white foam on black rock. There’s a small parking area and some trees for shade, but the appeal is the landscape itself: moody, open, and always moving.

👉 Bring a pareo or blanket and a thermos of coffee at sunrise. This is one of the best places on the island to sit still and let the ocean do all the talking.
