Belgravia is a lovely district in Central London known for its grand terraces, upscale residences, pretty cafe's (Peggy Porschen is so pretty) and beautiful streets. Developed in the 19th century by the Marquess of Westminster and architect Thomas Cubitt, it boasts elegant squares like Belgrave Square and Eaton Square. I used to work on Eaton Square, so spent a lot of time wandering around this area. Once a hotspot for crime and dueling, Belgravia is now home to embassies, charities, and wealthy residents. For a great pub in the Spring and Summer, Thomas Cubitt is really lovely. You can sit outside too. Wander along Eccleston Street and Ebury Street where you will find lovely treats and places to discover. Kinnerton Street I love and Halkin Mews you'll want to take photos off the pretty houses. You'll find fine dining in Belgravia and some lovely old pubs With its stately white stucco houses and prime location near Buckingham Palace, Belgravia remains a chic and exclusive neighbourhood in the heart of the city. If you want somewhere truly lovely to stay in Belgravia, then The Goring is a fabulous hotel.
