Húsavík is a small coastal town in North Iceland, famous as the whale-watching capital of the country. The bay’s rich waters attract many species, including humpback whales, minke whales, and sometimes even blue whales. Tours usually include a boat ride with the chance to see whales, dolphins, and seabirds like puffins in summer. The town itself is picturesque, with colorful houses, a harbor, and the charming wooden Húsavík Church. You can also visit the Húsavík Whale Museum to learn more about the marine life of Iceland.
