Snaefellsnes is the perfect place to go for a beach ride.

At Stori-Kambur they have short rides, so they are perfect for both beginners as experienced people.

I went on the Löngufjörur Beach Ride and it was amazing. One of the most magical rides I ever went on. So if you have experience, do yourself a favor and book this tour!

For inexperienced riders they have a one hour tour, which also takes you to their beautiful beach. So you'll get a beautiful experience then as well.

Going for a ride in the Icelandic countryside is always a lot of fun. So try to squeeze in a riding tour if you can! Just remember that Icelandic horses are smaller than regular horses. They are strong, but their weight limit is usually about 100 kg / 220 lbs.
