Gorgeous waterfall in a remote area. There are several ways to get from the east to Egilsstaðir. One of them is over the mountain pass Öxi (road 939). You are not allowed to take this route in wintertime, but in summer it is amazing. And one of the highlights in this are is Folaldafoss.

From the parking place it is only a few minute walk to the waterfall.
