Utah State Route 128, also known as "the river road" by locals, is a 44.5-mile scenic highway in Utah that follows the Colorado River. This is one thing I recommend to everyone visiting Moab -- drive Highway 128. If you're starting in Moab, at least drive until you see Dewey Bridge and turn around. Its one of the most scenic drives in Utah.
The road is paved the entire way and accessible to all vehicles. The most notable highlight along the drive (IMO) is Castleton in Castle Valley. This gives you a true feeling of the Wild West.
