HIKE DETAILS:

Start: Pfingstegg cable car station in Grindelwald. You can skip the cable car and start from Grindelwald.

If you decide to take the cable car, the hike to the hut is 5.5 km long out and back. Elevation gain is 476 meters and it is comfortably doable even with kids. It takes approximately 1 hour. The views along the way is incredible and the closer you get to the hut the more glaciers you see!

If you decide to skip the cable car you need to hike an extra 340 meters of elevation. it will take 2,5 hours to get to the hut.
