Hvannagil, also known as The Golden Valley, is a colorful rhyolite canyon located in the eastern part of Iceland. One of the lesser know yet some of the most beautiful trails in Iceland. The loop hike will take you around 2 hours to complete. It's not difficult but poorly marked. HERE is a link to the article that describes the way very well.
