Coney Mountain is a popular hike near Tupper Lake in the Adirondack Park. With a summit elevation of 2,265 feet, it's relatively small compared to many other peaks in the Adirondacks. However, it's known for its short but rewarding trail that makes a great choice for families or anyone looking for a less strenuous hike.
The trailhead is located on Route 30, near Tupper Lake. There's a parking area right at the trailhead. From there, the trail gradually ascends the mountain to the summit.
One of the main attractions of Coney Mountain is the spectacular 360-degree view from the summit. On a clear day, you can see a panorama of the Adirondacks, including numerous lakes and mountains.
