Situated just off the busy Santo Spirito area, you can find Italians and tourists alike enjoying the homestyle cooking at Trattoria Giovanni. The waiter GianLuca is quite the character and his eccentric personality adds an element of fun to the entire atmosphere. The first time some friends and I came here, we were unsure of what to order, so he paired dishes on the menu with our personalities and that’s what we were served. Disclaimer: he was spot on. I have yet to try a dish I haven’t liked here, and that’s what has made me come back several times now.

Kacie's Recommendation: You HAVE to try the Beef Filet with green pepper sauce. I literally want to take a bath in that sauce. Not literally, but you understand.
