This is a place where my soul rests. If I would have a chance to show Finnish wilderness to people around the world, I would take them to Urho Kekkonen National Park for a 5 days hike. This area is at its best when you have a lot of time to explore it, with skis in winter and on foot in other times. You can also do day daytrips from Saariselkä but if you are looking for more demanding hike, I would suggest Aittajärvi-Luirojärvi-Muorravaarakanruoktu-Sarvioja-Aittajärvi.
