You’ll most likely arrive on the Lofoten by taking the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes — but flying is also an option. If you choose to fly, I recommend landing at Leknes Airport. The largest airport in the wider region is Tromsø. You can fly there as well, but from Tromsø it's about an eight-hour drive to the southern end of the Lofoten Islands. However, since your trip ends on the island of Senja, the return journey to the airport will be much more relaxed, with only about a three-hour drive.
Your first stop is the stunning region around the fishing village of Reine.
