Kazue-machi Chaya District in Kanazawa is a charming area filled with old Edo-period buildings lining the Asano River. It's one of the city's three traditional entertainment districts, where you can stroll along the riverbank and admire the beautiful wooden tea houses. Less crowded than its larger counterpart, Higashi Chaya, Kazue-machi offers a more relaxed and picturesque setting for a leisurely walk or a nice dinner at one of the historic restaurants.
