This yurt and lakeside sauna are located on Anderson Lake, BC, about an hour and a half past Pemberton. We booked this accommodation through HipCamp (linked below), and it was one of the most remote and private places we’ve ever stayed in. The yurt is tucked away in the woods, about a 5-10 minute walk away from the lake where the sauna, kayaks and SUP are located. The yurt is equipped with a king bed, sitting area, propane gas stovetop, outdoor composting toilet and outdoor cold shower. There is another cabin on the same property, but it’s far enough away that you won’t see/hear other guests. The sauna comes at an additional price, but it is well worth it for the ultimate relaxation experience. Try jumping from the lake into the sauna repeatedly, to get your own Scandinavian spa right here on this private beach.
