The Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza is one of the city's top attractions and an absolute must-see! Designed by Andrea Palladio in the 16th century, it’s a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture.
Inspired by ancient Roman theatres, it features an elliptical stepped seating area surrounded by columns and statues, facing a rectangular stage and a grand, two-level stage front (scaenae frons).
The Teatro Olimpico is truly captivating, a visit to Vicenza wouldn’t be complete without it. From the stunning stage to the beautifully crafted seating area and ceiling, every detail transports you back to ancient Rome or Greece.
The standard ticket costs €12, but I recommend getting the Vicenza Silver Card for €16, which includes entry to four city landmarks. For even more value, the Vicenza Gold Card grants access to eleven sites for just €22.
