Get ready for a bit of a climb, but trust me, the views from San Giovanni Fortress are absolutely worth the effort. You'll be hiking up a historic stone path with over 1,350 steps, which feels like a journey back in time. Once you reach the top, the panoramic scene of Kotor's red rooftops and the entire bay spread out below is simply breathtaking. It's a good idea to start early in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds. The entrance fee is €15, and the whole adventure, including plenty of photo stops, will take you about two to three hours.
