We took a spontaneous one-night escape in San Salvador for work and stayed in an Airbnb in El Escalón. The location alone already made it worth it for us, because it’s close to one of our favorite street food spots, Señor Birria.

But what we didn’t expect was the view in the morning 😲 From the bedroom you can see the volcano, and if you wake up early enough, the sunrise hits it perfectly (see the video)
