Why it’s here

A long-standing Lisbon institution often called the “King of Chickens,” known for its rotisserie-style chicken cooked over charcoal, giving it crisp skin and juicy meat. We did find the skin itself super salty, but the meat balances it out along with the creamed spinach and rice.

Tip

They serve the piri-piri oil on the side, so drizzle it over the chicken yourself. Go slightly outside peak lunch or dinner times to avoid queues.
