The Flaming Cliffs, locally called just Bayanzag, are one of the most iconic places to visit in Mongolia's Gobi Desert. The vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows come alive at sunrise and sunset, and there are several great ger camps and hotels near here worth checking out.

The cliffs are famous for the dinosaur eggs discovered here more than 100 years ago by Roy Chapman Andrews, the man who is said to be the inspiration for Indiana Jones. Which is exactly who you'll fee like when you visit.
