Just off the main road, you'll find a view that truly captures the spirit of Lanzarote. The Salinas de Janubio are a stunning mosaic of color, where shimmering salt pans contrast dramatically with the black volcanic earth and the deep blue of the Atlantic. It's a working sea salt farm, one of the last on the island, and watching the light change over the geometric pools, especially at sunset, is something you won't forget. The main viewpoint is right by the car park, offering a fantastic panorama without any walk at all.
