False Creek is a narrow inlet separating downtown Vancouver from the West End neighbourhoods. There is a paved walking path almost all the way around the inlet, the ideal destination for an easy and surprisingly scenic urban stroll. Popular with locals as well as visitors, it's a fun way to explore an authentically 'lived in' part of Vancouver.

Consider starting at Sunset Beach Park to the west of the Burrard Street bridge and then walking as far as you like east. It is about 2.6km to the Cambie Street bridge (5.2km return).
