A good nearby alternative to the Piccadilly Motel (our fave) is the Destination Inn. It's open all year round and was completely renovated fairly recently.

The rooms are pretty plain but they are modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Travelling in a group or with kids? There are suites with separate bedrooms.
