📍 Western Rila, 7.5 km past the Rila Monastery

🚗 Accessible by car via a narrow but passable asphalt road that begins after the monastery. Parking is available right on the meadow.

🥾 Hiking trails to Suho Ezero (Dry Lake) and Smradlivo Ezero (Stinky Lake) start here, but proper preparation is needed for those routes.

💡 Tip: The meadow offers stunning views of Rila’s jagged peaks – Igata (The Needle), Zliy Zub (The Evil Tooth), the Kupenite group, and Dvuglav (The Two-Headed). A great spot to relax in the afternoon after visiting the Rila Monastery.
