Hey, I’m Sigurd - a Copenhagen-based creator with a love for travel, photography, food, and exploring cities on foot.
Over the past four years, I’ve spent a lot of my time travelling around the world, primarily throughout Asia. I’ve visited Japan three times so far, and I’ll be moving to Tokyo this September.
I love discovering new neighbourhoods, getting lost in side streets, taking photos, finding great food spots, and experiencing cities through everyday moments rather than rushing between tourist attractions.
That’s also what inspired me to start creating these guides, to help others experience Tokyo - and Japan, in a way that feels more natural, personal, and less overwhelming.
