Chef Guru is our all-time favorite Indian restaurant on Madeira. They serve some of the best dishes we know from the Indian kitchen, and they also have some of the dishes you normally don't find in your regular Indian eatery. The owner is actually a very well-renowned chef in India, but he wanted to live in Europe, so he left his job at a Michelin restaurant and decided to come to this paradise island. We have been there so many times that we are now friends with him, and we are so happy to have him and his restaurant here in Funchal. Dogs are also welcome here, as long as you sit outside, which is where we prefer to sit as it is covered.

They alsohave a lunch menu which we take advantage of very often. You get a drink and main dish with rice for 13 EUR
