This taverna has gotten very high on my list of favourite tavernas in all Crete.

The location and the food itself are simply too good to be true, as you get to enjoy the best of the traditional Cretan cuisine in a wonderful setting with olive trees, overlooking Plakias and the dazzling Libyan Sea.

Also, the gorges of Kotsifou and Kourtaliotis are quite close, which makes it a great lunch or dinner spot on a day full of exploration, hiking and swimming in the cascades.
