Zurich offers a city pass called the “Zürich Card” to purchase for for 24 or 72 hours.

The card includes free public transportation in the city, free boat cruises, as well as discounts on museums, attractions, and other fun benefits.

Do buy the Zurich Card if:

  • you plan to ride the city trams AND

  • visit at least one covered museum or excursion per day (e.g. Swiss National Museum or Uetliberg).

Don’t buy the Zurich Card if

  • you only need a transit ticket from the airport to Zürich city and a tram pass for the day

  • you have a valid Swiss Travel Pass for your time in Zürich
