The Dossen Glacier Garden in Zermatt has geological remnants of the last ice age, including glacial potholes and polished rocks left behind by the Gorner Glacier. While not particularly interesting to the average tourist, geology and glacier enthusiasts will love it. Learn more.

How to get there

You can reach this place by hiking. The shortest route is starting from the Furi gondola station, about a 30 min hike. After crossing the suspension bridge and passing the playground, follow signs to Gletschgarten, about 5 more mins. See trail info.
