Copenhagen Contemporary is an art museum located on Refshaløen, an island close to Copenhagen's city center. Take the bus, "harbor bus," or bike to get out there. The museum houses stunning and fascinating exhibitions, has an art workshop for kids, and a cafe. It is also right next to Reffen, the street food market, and several other activities close by, so you can really spend the day out here.
