Tangle Creek Falls is one of the many road side stops along the Icefields Parkway, offering a stunning multi-tiered waterfall with a 35-meter drop split between each level. It is located directly on the highway and has its own small parking lot. There's no hiking required but you do need to cross the highway so be sure to look both ways before crossing! It is easy to miss if you're not paying attention, so slow down as you approach the point on your GPS.
For the best experience, visit in late spring or early summer when the waterfall is at its fiercest due to snowmelt. In winter, this falls freezes over and you can see some people ice climbing to the top.
This is also a great to use the toilet if you need to.
