A beautiful but easy and short hike around Golden is the Thompson Falls forest hike. This moderate hike only takes about 3 hours round trip and provides spectacular views of Thompson Falls. Expect to hike 6.4 km one way with 85 meters of elevation gain.

Fun fact - This trail has a connection that was used by First Nations as a trade route!
