Additionally, you can take the cable car to the Monte Palace Tropical Gardens, which is highly recommended! There's also the Botanical Gardens. The main difference between the two is that the Tropical Gardens are more like a jungle with influences from outside, while the Botanical Gardens feature more local plants.
Tickets for both gardens can be purchased at the entrance to the gardens or at the cable car.
