Lake Seebensee can be reached from several directions. We recommend you to either just walk from "Tannenboden" via "Winkelzahl" right up, or choose an even more scenic option: Take the cable car from Tannenboden (which is perfectly accessible by public transports) to Maschgenkamm (see link below). From there on it is a hike of around two hours that offers amazing views, coming along places like Gross Güslen which offers great views. Lake Seebensee is actually not the only lake a this spot: Take a stroll around Heusee as well. The third lake, Schwarzsee, isn't developed to walk around. If you have the time, stay until sunset and enjoy the wonderful calm atmosphere at the lakes and don't forget to take photos. After sunset it's possible to walk down to Tannenboden again and reach the last bus or stay in the picturesque hotel. It's up to you!
