Starting from Zermatt, the Gornergratbahn takes you up along many stops where you can go out and hike, until you have reached the top: the Gornergrat. From there you get one of the most famous views on mount Matterhorn, but also on the Gornergletscher, the second longest glacier of Switzerland. The ticket to the top is pricy, but you can hike the upper part to get an amazing experience and reduce the price. Also, the price includes the view on a special mountain range: The highest mountains in Switzerland are situated there.
