This is one of those spots that always makes people stop and look up. You're walking through a jungle of neon, shoulder to shoulder with the crowd, when suddenly—boom—there’s Godzilla peeking out from the top of a hotel. It's ridiculous in the best possible way and such a classic Tokyo moment.
The energy here is wild, especially at night. The lights, the buzz, the mix of people—it all just clicks into place. I love framing the shot with the crowd at the bottom and the signage guiding the eye straight to the big guy.
Best Time to Photograph:
Evening to night. Once the city lights are fully on, the atmosphere turns electric. It's busy, but that's part of the magic—embrace the chaos and let the signs and colors do the work.
