Katsuo-ji is a beautiful Buddhist temple located in the mountains of Minoh City, northern suburb of Osaka. It's an ancient temple with its history dating back to 710 during early Nara period. Visitors can admire the traditional Daruma dolls, symbols of good fortune and granted wishes, scattered throughout the temple’s grounds. Along with its historical significance, it also offers breathtaking views all year round with the late blooming of cherry trees, hydrangeas and maple trees in spring, summer, autumn and winter respectively. Not to forget, it also has a beautiful night illumination show too. Moreover, visitors may pay respects at the various pavilions in the up and down paths.
