Menya Ittō in Shin Koiwa, Tokyo, is a renowned restaurant that has been awarded the title of King of Tsukemen for its special seafood and chicken tsukemen. This popular Ramen spot can have lines up to two or three blocks long on weekends! However, a ticketing system has made it easier to enjoy the delicious dishes they offer. The signature dish is the “Special Seafood Chicken Tsukemen” which comes with some extra meat and egg toppings along with the chef’s special chicken and prawn broth, fatty pork char siu, handmade thick noodles and a hint of yuzu citrus zest. All this makes for an enjoyable bowl of comfort food and definitely worth the wait!
