Solitaire is a small settlement in the Khomas Region of central Namibia situated between the dunes at Sossusvlei and the coast at Walvis Bay. It is said this is a must stop on your way from Sesriem to the coast or back to Windhoek. In McGregors Café you can get a coffee or cool drink and what they say the best apple pie in the world. I must disagree but it is a nice spot to stretch your legs and fill up your car before heading back.
