Divundu is a village located on the banks of the Okavango River in Namibia. With a population of around 5,430 people, it's known for being the home of the local Hambukushu kings. Tourists often visit for game drives in the nearby Bwabwata National Park and boat cruises to the Popa Falls. The village council, led by CEO Athanasius Ndjamba Maghumbo, governs Divundu. SWAPO has been successful in local elections, winning seats in both 2015 and 2020.
