Just across the river in Arlington, you'll find a truly striking tribute to the nation's airmen. Three immense stainless steel spires soar into the sky, a design inspired by the thrilling 'bomb burst' maneuver of the Air Force Thunderbirds that you can spot from across the city. It's a peaceful spot on a hillside, offering incredible views over the Pentagon and Washington D.C., perfect for a moment of quiet reflection. While there's parking right there, it can be limited, but it's also a pleasant and mostly flat 20-minute walk from the Pentagon City or Pentagon metro stops.
