Seeing icebergs floating in the glacier lagoon always makes me feel like I'm in another world. It's surreal to witness seals pop their heads out the water and to see gigantic chunks of ice from the the nearby Breiðamerkujökull glacier.

I absolutely love walking around this area and taking in the views!

Please note : as of June 1st, 2023 the authorities in the area plan to start charging for parking. It will be 1000 ISK or about $7-$8.
