Vök Baths has a series of man-made floating infinity pools situated on the shores of Lake Urriðavatn only a few minutes’ drive from Egilstaðir..

It’s a fun experience to soak in the baths and then take a dip into the chilly lake. I did it on a dare and it wasn’t that bad. LOL.

I love that the pools are designed to blend in seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. If you sit still in the floating pools, you can feel them swaying back and forth with the movement of the lake.

In addition to the pools, there is a sauna, cold water spray tunnel, tea bar, an in-water pool bar, and the on-site restaurant.
