The scorching and bubbling water of Iceland's largest mud pool creates a massive steam plume that can be seen from far away. According to local folklore, this hot spring is haunted by a woman named Gunna that lived in the area centuries ago. Legend has it that if you look closely in the steam, you can see her trying to escape.

The story behind how she ended up in this hot spring is the last video in the carousel. This place is located just a few minutes away from Reykjanesviti (Reykjanes lighthouse), which is Iceland's oldest lighthouse.
