A trip along Iceland's South Coast is not complete without a stop at the famous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. Please stay away from the water because it can be dangerous. This beach is renowned for sneaker waves, which are waves that literally can sneak up on people and drag them out to sea. This situation can be easily avoided if you stay a safe distance away from the water. There are signs and a light system that warn people about what areas that are not safe, so take heed and have fun!
