Not far from the iconic Skógafoss waterfall is a stunning waterfall that most people don't know about. Kvernufoss waterfall is a short walk from the Skógar museum and is worth the stop.

It's best to park in the lot for the Skógar museum and walk on the trail for about 15-20 minutes.

What's lovely to me about this waterfall is that it's easy to get to, it's a fun place to take photos, and there are way less people than at the other well known waterfalls.
