As you drive into or out of Seyðisfjörður, you will come across this beautiful waterfall. It’s an easy stop that’s worth making. The name means “steam waterfall” because of the mist it oven makes. Because it’s in an unspoiled and remote location it’s a great spot for those who want to escape the crowds. The waterfall is not as well-known as other tourist spots in Iceland, making it a perfect location for those of you looking to explore off the beaten path.

I stop here every time I visit Seyðisfjörður just to take in the beauty and enjoy some time at a gorgeous waterfall by myself.
