This itinerary highlights many of our favourite spots, but if you can stay longer, I recommend checking out the other itinerary to add areas like Kaikoura and Abel Tasman to your journey which are worth visiting!

Check into your campsite in Hokitika, and relax and have dinner at camp, or check out a restaurant in town.

Hokitika Holiday Park

Hokitika Holiday Park is a chill spot to unwind in nature, offering a range of accommodation options from cabins to powered sites.

Optional: Watch sunset at Hokitika Beach then head to the Glow Worm Dell after dark! There is limited parking, so just make sure you park in a safe location. I would recommend heading there atleast 1 hour or more after sunset to really see the worms. It really is magical!
