Mannen is a small mountain in the Lofoten Islands with a big view. The hike to Mannen offers impressive vistas of tropical-looking beaches surrounded by vibrant green mountains, making it more than worth the relatively low effort it requires. With an elevation gain of just 430m, hikers can enjoy stunning views of Haukland Beach and Vik Beach even on cloudy days. The trail starts at Haukland Beach parking lot and takes about 3-3.5 hours roundtrip. Just be prepared for some muddy sections and a bit of exposure towards the top, but the breathtaking scenery makes it all worthwhile.
