Playful yet cozy, decorative and fun, Hosteria da Fulvio takes the award here for my favorite ambiance. Paired with the outstanding food, I’ve made the trip back here multiple times. It can be hard to find good seafood here in Florence, but Hosteria da Fulvio offers options on their menu to satisfy every palate in your party, including those who prefer the taste of the sea. Despite often being very busy (likely due to their proximity to Santo Spirito), the waitstaff are always incredibly friendly and attentive.

Kacie's Recommendation: The mussels here are fantastic, but their octopus really gets the gold star. The Pici Cacio e Pepe is one of my favs that I’ve found in Florence so far, and you’ve got to get the cheesecake to finish. Trust me.
