Pali Notches is a beautiful sunset spot if you are looking for something short with an amazing view of the island. I always go to the first notch because it has the best light and the best view of sunset. If you are an avid hiker and want a longer adventure you can press on to the other notches however that can get a lot more dangerous as you go.

This is a very vertical and muddy hike so if it has just rained recently either wear something you are ok getting dirty or just wait for it to warm up a bit. Also check the weather for wind - this is a wind tunnel so it can get pretty crazy when winds are high.

The only thing you have to pay for here is parking.
